Sweet Sorrow is a microgame found in the Dance Club Rub stage in WarioWare: Touched! The name is a reference to the William Shakespeare line "Parting is such sweet sorrow."

A similar microgame appears in WarioWare: Snapped!, with camera controls instead of touch controls. While microgames in Snapped! do not have official names, both versions involve waving their hand while the recipient bids them farewell.

Gameplay[edit]

WarioWare: Touched![edit]

The objective of the game is to use the stylus to rub the man's arm to wave at the relatives until they reach the end of the road.

  • 1st level difficulty: A man in a business suit leaves in the distance.
  • 2nd level difficulty: A person in a strawberry suit leaves, but is closer.
  • 3rd level difficulty: The player must wave at two aliens, both leaving separately.

WarioWare: Snapped![edit]

The player must wave their hand four times to a girl standing in a wheat field at sunset. If a wave is successful, she will reply with "Bye-bye".
