Nintendo Sound Clock: Alarmo (also formatted as Nintendo Sound Clock Alarmo[2] and referred to simply as Alarmo) is an interactive alarm clock by Nintendo. Alarmo was first revealed by Nintendo on YouTube.[3] Alarmo will be available for purchase on My Nintendo Store exclusively to Nintendo Switch Online subscribers before being released to the general public. Alarmo can also be bought at Nintendo New York at launch while supplies last. Alarmo uses motion sensors which can detect movement.

Overview

Alarmo has many themes bases on Nintendo games. Alarmo is going to two themes based on the Super Mario franchise; Super Mario Odyssey will be available at release, and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, which will be added in an update after release. Music from the game chosen also plays as the alarm. Getting in or or out of bed will play sound effects from the game chosen. When the user has got out of bed after the alarm, a fanfare will play and the alarm music will end. Alarmo has an hourly chime where many Nintendo characters will interact with the time.

Modes

Gentle Mode

Gentle Mode[2] is a mode that keeps the consistency of the intensity of the alarm at a more calm rate.

Steady Mode

Steady Mode[2] is a mode that makes the alarm more intense the longer the user stays in bed.

Button Mode

Button Mode[2] is a mode that makes Alarmo function more similarly to a regular alarm clock.

Records

Records is a mode where the user can track how long they were in bed for and their movements when they were asleep.
