Groovy Panel
An item from Paper Mario: The Origami King.
Description
"Shrine panel stolen by a Sidestepper. Put it back where it goes!"
First appearance Paper Mario: The Origami King (2020)

The Groovy Panel is a special item in Paper Mario: The Origami King. It is found in the Water Vellumental Shrine, and is used to solve the 2×2 tile puzzle on the west side of the temple. Due to this missing panel, the puzzle cannot be completed. Mario must hammer the crack in the wall in the northwest corner to find several red and blue Sidesteppers running across the room, entering and exiting the cracks in the bottom of the walls. A particular blue Sidestepper is seen carrying the panel, but seems to travel on the other end of the room whenever Mario travels to the opposing end.

Fortunately, there is a POW Block floating on the north end. Mario must wait for the Sidestepper to appear and strike the POW Block, stunning it and flipping it over. Mario is now able to approach the Sidestepper, defeat it, and recover the panel. He is then able to return to the adjacent room and insert the panel into the grid, allowing him to complete this puzzle.

The Groovier Panel is found further into the temple, and serves a similar purpose. This tile is used to solve the 3×3 puzzle on the east side.
