<< Directory of levels >>

Rail Lift is the third level of P. 1-Beginning in Yoshi's Story. The level contains many Surprise Balls, Bumper Balls, and cloud platforms. As the title suggests, there are many Rail Lifts that move along set tracks, hovering over bottomless pits. The level can be even more difficult as a Yoshi has to hit levers along the track to progress. The hidden coin letter for this stage is U.

This level contains a buried secret that a Yoshi cannot detect by sniffing. In the beginning of the level in the area full of Shy Guys On Stilts, if the Yoshi does a Ground Pound on the small pointed hill in the middle of the area, a Heart Fruit will appear. However, if the Yoshi sniffs in this spot, he will not detect anything hidden.

Storybook segment

New to the world, the babies didn't know much, but they knew to keep trying. With teamwork, the Yoshis could find the tree at the end of the book. Shy Guys tried to keep them down. By riding on clouds, the Yoshis happily escaped.
