Number Ball Special is an unlockable level in world three of Yoshi's Island DS. White Yoshi appears here for the third time. It is also the first level containing Number Balls. Unlike A Light in the Dark, a secret level before it, Baby Wario is playable here. The level starts out with Yoshi above ground with a pipe leading underground. Once underground the players need to use a certain baby for each of the areas, all shaped like a number. Once the player collects all five Number Balls, he or she can go onto the goal ring, completing the level.
