Shine Get | Waluigi Time (talk) | Waluigi Time has consistently done well applying a "less is more" approach to this section, and issue 209's edition encapsulates that. Showing through the first mission of Tick Tock Clock showing where it pays more to add details such as alternative paths, he also shows through the second mission where it pays to be concise. There's only so much that can be said about platforming on a condensed set of flipping platforms to grab Red Coins, so he keeps it to a simple tip (grab the Rocket Nozzle to get up more easily) and lets an image do much of the talking. |
TV Tomorrow | Quizmelon (talk) | My favorite program from this issue is Luigi + Luigi. Recontextualizing a Super Mario Galaxy screenshot into a sitcom featuring a heavily caricatured Luigi clone was a really funny idea and exhibits Quizmelon's consistent creativity in writing this section. The only downside is it's not real so I can't actually watch it. |
An Overly Detailed and Funny Walkthrough of Mega Man 2 | Sparks (talk) and MightyMario (talk) | As a certified "Mega Man 2 is just okay, 6 is the best out of the NES" connoisseur, it's interesting to see a different approach on the game. There's no right or wrong one to start with for Mega Man 2, but this section has enough reasoning in an entertaining way that is serviceable to newcomers. After all, the Metal Blade is the most powerful weapon, and Metal Man is a bit trickier to handle first, so props to them for structuring their walkthrough this way. |
