? Capsules[1] are containers hidden within background walls in Super Mario Bros. Wonder. Much like ? Blocks, they are adorned with a white question mark and contain power-ups. They appear on the ropes of some handles that can be broken if pulled enough, which in turn causes the ? Capsule to pop off of the rope and land on the ground. This breaks the ? Capsule, releasing the power-up inside. ? Capsules are also sometimes carried by Condrops, who drop them and cause them to break open in the same way. The ? Capsules cannot otherwise be directly interacted with, and they will only release their contents by landing on the ground. They are reminiscent of gashapon toy capsules.
