An Ice Storm is an item found in Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door and Super Paper Mario. In Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door, the item produces a cold storm that attacks all enemies. An Ice Storm deals three damage to all enemies (unless the enemy is ice based), and may possibly freeze them. If used against fire based enemies, it deals an extra damage point and has a higher chance of freezing them. If used against ice based enemies, the enemies will gain HP.
In Super Paper Mario, this item does much more damage to enemies depending on how much the bar is filled from shaking the Wii Remote. It is twice as powerful as a Fire Burst, dealing two damage for every segment filled. It is sometimes dropped by Frost Piranhas and Squigs.

- Glitz Pit, in the major-league room, it can be found in the northwest corner.
- Glitz Pit, in the major-league room, inside one of the western lockers. Missable if the player does not collect it before defeating Rawk Hawk the second time.
- Sold by Pungent at his shop for 15 coins each in The Great Tree.
- Sold by Thriff T. at his shop for 15 coins each in Keelhaul Key.
- Sold at Northwinds Mart for 6 coins each in Fahr Outpost.
- Given away as a reward for collecting 20 Shop Points.
- Given by The Creepy Steeple Boo for passing its third quiz.
Super Paper Mario[edit]
- Chapter 3-1, in eastern background of the first area, accessible via a pipe to the west after defeating the Blomeba(s).
- Chapter 8-3, in a chest at the western end behind the first mirror room.
- Sold by Howzit for 40 coins each in Flipside, or for 25 coins in Downtown of Crag.
