Variant of Goop

Orange Juice Generators,[1][2] also called Juice Generators,[3] are pulsating force fields comprised of yellow goop in Super Mario Sunshine. They block access to items, prevent certain passageways from being entered, and damage Mario on contact. Orange Juice Generators are uniquely unaffected by water, and they can be dissolved only by juice spat from a Yoshi. They have a zigzag shape (also appearing to have an M similarly to M Graffiti) and undulate when Mario approaches them.

The first Orange Juice Generator is blocking the Warp Pipe leading to the Lily Pad Ride on a small island off the east coast of Delfino Plaza; said island can be reached only by riding a series of boats starting from either the mainland or another island located off the south coast. The second Orange Juice Generator is on the back of the police station's tower in Delfino Plaza, covering a small hole containing a Blue Coin. The third one is on a tall building near the cannon leading to Pinna Park, covering a small hole with a Blue Coin in it. The fourth one is blocking the entrance to a cage containing a Shine Sprite in Episode 8 of Ricco Harbor. The fifth one is covering a Dune Bud to the left of the Sand Cabana on Gelato Beach. The sixth and final Orange Juice Generator is on a flat green Mushroom Platform under Pianta Village in Episode 5 (Secret of the Village Underside), covering the entrance to a secret level.
