Room 3-8 (titled Room 2-8 in the British English version) is the eighth course of Pipe Works in Mario vs. Donkey Kong 2: March of the Minis.

The course features four Mini Marios.

Overview[edit]

The course is divided into four levels; at the top of the level are four girders, the first with a blue Color Switch, the second and third with a Mini Mario's starting position and a yellow Color Switch. These two girders are connected by a blue bridge and have two Warp Pipes above them, with the pipes on the top left and top right girders leading to pipes on the middle left and middle right of the first level, respectively. In the top right corner is a girder with a red Color Switch, connected to the third girder by a yellow bridge. On the second highest level is a Yellow Spring below the girder with a red bridge to the right of the Yellow Spring; below the red bridge is the second Mini Mario's starting point. In the middle of the level is a structure made up of seven Warp Pipes, with two curved Rotate Pipe segments in the left and right connections. Above the middle pipe of this structure is a pit of spikes below two red bridges, and to the right of the spikes a yellow bridge; the third Mini Mario begins below the yellow bridge and to the right of the Warp Pipe Structure. On the bottom are three pits of spikes: the ones on the left and right have blue bridges above them, while the one in the center has two Shy Guys walking across it. The fourth Mini Mario begins between the center and right spike pits. The exit is on the bottom left, beyond the left pit of spikes; to reach it, the player should press the Color Switches and turn the Rotate Pipe segments so the Minis can cross the spikes and arrive at the exit.

Mini Mario Card[edit]

The Mini Mario Card is at the bottom of the level, above the pit of spikes with the Shy Guys walking across. To obtain it, the player should make a Mini Mario move across the Shy Guys' heads, allowing it to collect the Mini Mario Card when it stands on top of the left Shy Guy.

Star scores[edit]
