- This article is about Funky's location in Donkey Kong Country 3. For a series of minigames in the remake, see Funky's Rentals (minigame).
Funky's Rentals, also called the Rental Shop,[1] is a location in Donkey Kong Country 3: Dixie Kong's Double Trouble!. It is a rental garage owned by Funky Kong on the Northern Kremisphere world map. Funky builds and leases his own watercraft here for the Kongs to borrow. Funky's Rentals is the first place visited by Dixie, and Funky allows her to borrow his Motor Boat in addition to giving her Kiddy Kong to babysit. Every time Funky's Rental is visited, the player can use a menu to either select which vehicle they want to rent or to exit the building. Besides the Motor Boat, a few additional vehicles can be created and rented when returning with the necessary items: the Hover Craft requires the patch; the Turbo Ski requires both skis; and the Gyrocopter requires every DK Coin
In the remake, there is a caged Banana Bird in Funky's Rentals that can be obtained by completing the four minigame challenges. There is a "Hire boat" option that allows the player characters to walk over to which vehicle they want to use.
