Level 4-1 is the first level of Merry Mini-Land in the Nintendo Switch version of Mario vs. Donkey Kong. The target time for this level's Time Attack is 35.00.
Overview
This level serves as an introduction to the Flower Fans, which can carry Mario and the key across different portions of the level. In the first area, Mario is blocked off from the key by a red Flower Fan, and must use the blue Color Switch just above to toggle it and reach the key, which he can ferry across other Flower Fans in the vicinity towards the locked door. After toggling the blue ladder, he can unlock the door and proceed to the next area.
In the second area, he starts off at the top left, and must navigate through a maze of Donut Blocks and Color Blocks to reach the blue Color Switch which is guarded by a Shy Guy. Once the switch is activated, Mario can eventually drop down to the bottom and use the now-activated blue Flower Fan to float to the Mini-Mario.
