This is a list of the 40 Power Moons (39 regular Power Moons and 1 Multi Moon) that can be found in the Cascade Kingdom of Super Mario Odyssey.

3 | Chomp Through the Rocks |
The player must capture the Chain Chomp to the left of the first Big Chain Chomp in the kingdom and use it to destroy the rocks on the wall behind it. | Available after collecting "Our First Power Moon". |
4 | Behind the Waterfall |
In the first 8-bit section, the player can find an invisible block near the top (on the left side), which they can use to jump over the small wall and find a hidden Power Moon. | Available after collecting "Our First Power Moon". |
5 | On Top of the Rubble |
The player can find this Power Moon on top of some rubble near the start of the kingdom. | Available after collecting the "Multi Moon Atop the Falls" Power Moon. |
6 | Treasure of the Waterfall Basin |
The player can find this Power Moon in a hidden alcove in the water under the Odyssey's original location. | Available after collecting the "Multi Moon Atop the Falls" Power Moon. |
7 | Above a High Cliff |
Near the Odyssey's original location, the player must capture the nearby Chain Chomp and use it to destroy the nearby rocks on the cliff wall. This will reveal a Warp Pipe, which will take the player on top of the cliff wall, where the Power Moon is located. | Available after collecting the "Multi Moon Atop the Falls" Power Moon. |
8 | Across the Floating Isles |
The player must return to the area where Madame Broode was fought, and they should cross over the floating platforms located to the north-west of the arena in order to reach this Power Moon. | Available after collecting the "Multi Moon Atop the Falls" Power Moon. |
9 | Cascade Kingdom Timer Challenge 1 |
Near the start of the Kingdom, the player can find a scarecrow. The player must throw Cappy onto the scarecrow in order to temporarily reveal some moving platforms and a Power Moon above the river. The player must then collect the Power Moon before it disappears. | Available after collecting the "Multi Moon Atop the Falls" Power Moon. |
10 | Cascade Kingdom Timer Challenge 2 |
In the area where Mario fought Madame Broode, the player can find a scarecrow. The player must throw Cappy onto the scarecrow in order to temporarily reveal some blocks and a Power Moon high above them. The player must then triple jump up the blocks and collect the Power Moon before it disappears. | Available after collecting the "Multi Moon Atop the Falls" Power Moon. |
11 | Good Morning, Captain Toad! |
From the area where Mario fought Madame Broode, the player should head to a western side platform containing a Moon Rock. From this platform, the player should drop down onto a lower platform directly underneath, where Captain Toad can be found. Talking to him will give the player a Power Moon. | Available after collecting the "Multi Moon Atop the Falls" Power Moon. |
12 | Dinosaur Nest: Big Cleanup! |
Near the "Above a High Cliff" Power Moon, the player can find a door leading to a secret area. Mario should enter this area and then capture the T-Rex inside, which he can use to defeat all of the Burrbos in this area. Doing so will reveal a Power Moon. | Available after collecting the "Multi Moon Atop the Falls" Power Moon. |
13 | Dinosaur Nest: Running Wild! |
In the area with the "Dinosaur Nest: Big Cleanup!" Power Moon, the player should look for a low platform with some large rocks. If the player destroys one of them as a T-Rex (see image), a Power Moon will appear. | Available after collecting the "Multi Moon Atop the Falls" Power Moon. |
14 | Nice Shot with the Chain Chomp! |
Near the "Chomp Through the Rocks" Power Moon, the player should head around the cliff wall across some platforms to the left side in order to find a secret Warp Pipe. The player should enter the Warp Pipe to find a secret area where Mario must capture Chain Chomps in order to hit the other Chain Chomps into the target area. If Mario can do this successfully three times, he will receive a Power Moon. | Available after collecting the "Multi Moon Atop the Falls" Power Moon. |
15 | Very Nice Shot with the Chain Chomp! |
After collecting the "Nice Shot with the Chain Chomp!" Power Moon, the player should look for a secret area to the right which contains one last puzzle where a Chain Chomp must be captured in order to hit the other Chain Chomps into the target area. If Mario can successfully do this, he will receive a hidden Power Moon. | Available after collecting the "Multi Moon Atop the Falls" Power Moon. |
16 | Past the Chasm Lifts |
Near the Stone Bridge checkpoint, the player can find a door leading to a secret area. Mario should enter this door, then traverse across the platforms to reach the Power Moon at the end of the area. | Available after collecting the "Multi Moon Atop the Falls" Power Moon. |
17 | Hidden Chasm Passage |
In the secret area with the "Past the Chasm Lifts" Power Moon, the player should look for a hidden Warp Pipe located under the second 8-bit section. Mario should enter this Warp Pipe and then use the nearby Koopa Troopa to break through the wall on the right, which will open a secret path leading to this Power Moon. | Available after collecting the "Multi Moon Atop the Falls" Power Moon. |
18 | Secret Path to Fossil Falls! |
This Power Moon can be found on the Island in the Sky. To reach it, the player must travel through a painting located in a different kingdom:

19 | A Tourist in the Cascade Kingdom |
After restoring the Sand Kingdom to its former glory, the player should locate the Tostarenan Tourist at the Tostarena Town. Mario must talk to the Tostarenan, who states that he wants to go to the Metro Kingdom. After this conversation, the player should head to the Metro Kingdom, where the tourist can be found next to the Main Street Entrance checkpoint. If Mario talks to him here, he will state that he now wants to go to a place with big waterfalls. After this conversation, the player should head to the Cascade Kingdom, where the tourist can be found near the start of the kingdom. Talking to him here will reward Mario with a Power Moon. | Available after collecting the "A Tourist in the Metro Kingdom!" Power Moon (Metro Kingdom). |
20 | Rolling Rock by the Falls |
Under the Odyssey's original position, Mario should find two rocks that he can break. If Mario breaks the one on the right, he will receive a Power Moon. | Available after leaving the Cascade Kingdom and then returning. |
21 | Peach in the Cascade Kingdom |
At the Fossil Falls Heights, the player can find Princess Peach. Talking to her will reward Mario with a Power Moon. | Available after defeating Bowser in the Moon Kingdom and talking to the Toad outside Peach's Castle (Mushroom Kingdom). |
22 | Cascade Kingdom Regular Cup |
At the start of the kingdom, the player can find a Koopa Troopa hosting the Koopa Freerunning mini-game. Mario must enter the race and then reach the finish line in first place to be awarded a Power Moon. | Available after defeating Bowser in the Moon Kingdom. |
23 | Caveman Cave-Fan |
At the Fossil Falls Heights, Mario can find a Bonnetor who is a big fan of cavemen. If Mario talks to him with the Caveman hat and the Caveman outfit on, he will reward the player with a Power Moon. | Available after defeating Bowser in the Moon Kingdom. |
24 | Shopping in Fossil Falls |
The player can purchase a Power Moon from the Crazy Cap Shop for 100 yellow Coins. | Available after leaving the Cascade Kingdom and then returning. |
25 | Sphynx Traveling to the Waterfall |
At the start of the kingdom, Mario must capture the pair of binoculars and use them to look in the sky for the Sphynx. If Mario stares at the Sphynx long enough, he will reward the player with a Power Moon. | Available after defeating Bowser in the Moon Kingdom. |
26 | Bottom of the Waterfall Basin |
Under the stone bridge next to "Our First Power Moon", the player can find a glowing spot in the water. Mario must ground pound this spot in order to reveal a Power Moon. | Available after opening the kingdom's Moon Rock. |
27 | Just a Hat, Skip, and a Jump |
Near the first 8-bit section of the kingdom, the player should look for some Mysterious Clouds opposite the 8-Bit Pipe. Mario must throw Cappy at these Mysterious Clouds to create platforms leading to a Power Moon located on a distant isle. | Available after opening the kingdom's Moon Rock. |
28 | Treasure Under the Cliff |
Near the Stone Bridge checkpoint, the player should look for the Power Moon located along the cliff face to the right. To reach the Power Moon, Mario must throw Cappy at the Mysterious Clouds underneath the Moon, which will turn into platforms. The player can then use these platforms to wall jump off the cliff wall and into the Power Moon. | Available after opening the kingdom's Moon Rock. |
29 | Next to the Stone Arch |
At the Fossil Falls Heights, the player should look for this Power Moon floating in the air next to the stone bridge leading to the boss arena. To collect this Power Moon, Mario must simply jump down from the bridge and land on it. | Available after opening the kingdom's Moon Rock. |
30 | Guarded by a Colossal Fossil |
At the Fossil Falls Heights, the player must head to the large triceratops fossil producing a waterfall. Mario should notice that the fossil's nose is glowing. If the player throws Cappy at the glowing nose and holds him there for a few seconds, Mario will receive a Power Moon. | Available after opening the kingdom's Moon Rock. |
31 | Under the Old Electrical Pole |
The player must capture the T-Rex in this kingdom (located in the south-western corner of the kingdom) and take it to the start, where a tall pole with a spark pylon can be found. If Mario destroys this pole with the T-Rex, a glowing spot will appear on the ground. The player must then ground pound this glowing spot, which will reveal a Power Moon. | Available after opening the kingdom's Moon Rock. |
32 | Under the Ground |
The player must capture the T-Rex in this kingdom (located in the south-western corner of the kingdom) and use it to destroy the rocks surrounding its resting spot. Underneath one of these rocks, a glowing spot can be found. If Mario ground pounds this glowing spot, he will receive a Power Moon. | Available after opening the kingdom's Moon Rock. |
33 | Inside the Busted Fossil |
At the Fossil Falls Heights, the player must capture a Chain Chomp and use it to destroy a fossil piece located near the pole with a spark pylon. If Mario can successfully destroy this fossil, a Power Moon will appear. | Available after opening the kingdom's Moon Rock. |
34 | Caught Hopping at the Waterfall! |
Near the Crazy Cap Shop, the player should look for a rabbit hopping around. If Mario catches the rabbit, he will receive a Power Moon. | Available after opening the kingdom's Moon Rock. |
35 | Taking Notes: Hurry Upward |
In the kingdom's first 8-bit section, the player should notice a rainbow-colored treble clef. Mario must collect this treble clef, as well as all the notes that appear, before they disappear in order to receive a Power Moon. | Available after opening the kingdom's Moon Rock. |
36 | Cascade Kingdom Master Cup |
At the start of the kingdom, the player can find a Koopa Troopa hosting the Koopa Freerunning mini-game. Mario must enter the race and then reach the finish line in first place to be awarded a Power Moon. | Available after opening the kingdom's Moon Rock and collecting the "Cascade Kingdom Regular Cup" Power Moon. |
37 | Across the Mysterious Clouds |
Next to the Stone Bridge checkpoint, the player can find a Moon Pipe. Mario must enter this Pipe to travel to a secret area filled with Mysterious Clouds and swinging platforms. If the player can reach the end of this area, they will be rewarded with a Power Moon. | Available after opening the kingdom's Moon Rock. |
38 | Atop a Wall Among the Clouds |
In the area with the "Across the Mysterious Clouds" Power Moon, the player should locate a group of blocks halfway through the area. Mario must use these blocks to reach the top of the red wall, where some hidden Mysterious Clouds are located. The player must traverse across these Mysterious Clouds to find a secret Power Moon. | Available after opening the kingdom's Moon Rock. |
39 | Across the Gusty Bridges |
Under the Odyssey's original position, the player can find a Moon Pipe. Mario must enter this Pipe, which will take him to an area filled with wind a movable platforms. If the player can successfully traverse across the wind-affected platforms without being blown off, they will receive a Power Moon. | Available after opening the kingdom's Moon Rock. |
40 | Flying Far Away from Gusty Bridges |
In the area with the "Across the Gusty Bridges" Power Moon, the player should look for a hidden lever on the second set of yellow platforms. Mario must throw Cappy at the lever to reveal a hidden platform, allowing access to a side platform. The player must then throw Cappy through the wind gusts here in order to activate another hidden lever, which will cause a Power Moon to appear. | Available after opening the kingdom's Moon Rock. |
