Jungle Japes in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate

Jungle Japes is a stage that appears in Super Smash Bros. Melee, Super Smash Bros. Brawl, Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS, and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. It is set on a river, with three ledges made of wood on which players fight. There is a large platform found in the center. This platform has another smaller platform above it, which players are able to jump on. There are also two smaller platforms on both sides, but because they are higher up, and because they are separated by the rapid water current, they are dangerous to jump on. Klap Traps occasionally jump up to knock players into the river. The default music for the stage is an arrangement of "DK Island Swing" from Donkey Kong Country, although it doesn't return in Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS and is replaced by Kongo Jungle's version from Super Smash Bros. instead (the song is also one of the few arrangements from previous games to be absent in Super Smash Bros. for Wii U). On the main platform, there is a cabin in the background, and the player can see Cranky Kong's silhouette walking back and forth through a window.

The Final Destination form of the stage seen in Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS takes place on just the main platform with the cabin, which has been extended. Although the river can still be found under the platform, it does not impact the battle.
