Gold Classics Pack
Template:Coinpackbox The Gold Classics Pack (Golden Classic Course Pack in Japan) is a downloadable Coin Rush pack released on November 27th, 2012. It was made to celebrate the world coin total reaching 300 billion gold coins in New Super Mario Bros. 2 for the Nintendo 3DS. The pack consists of level designs inspired by past Super Mario games such as Super Mario Bros. and Super Mario Bros. 3. As a direct consequence of the circumstances behind its creation, it came out as the sixth pack, while the original sixth pack, Coin Challenge C, as well as the planned seventh DLC pack, Platform Panic Pack, were released as the seventh and eighth DLC packs, respectively. It is rated one out of five stars, meaning "very easy". This pack uses 2 blocks from the SD Card's memory. From its release until the end of January 2013, the Gold Classics pack was free to download.
Course 1
Template:Levelbox This course is heavily based on stages from Super Mario Bros.. The main part of the level is a recreation of World 1-1, and the pipe that originally leads to a secret underground room now takes Mario to a replica of World 1-2. Also, the Warp Zone area found in the latter takes Mario to various bonus games from this game. A secret hole in the Warp Zone leads the player to a Super Mario Bros. Mario sprite made of Red Blocks, Used Blocks and Wooden Blocks.
Star Coins
- Star Coin 1: Found in a bonus area via a pipe over the first pit. Mario must reveal invisible blocks from underneath the pipe's entrance to access it.
- Star Coin 2: Found just before the elevating platforms in the World 1-2 area. It disappears upon Mario approaching it, so a Koopa shell must be thrown at it to obtain it.
- Star Coin 3: Found at the end of the cannon bonus section. At the beginning of the stage, Mario must hit the top ? Block and ride it to reach the course.
Enemies
Course 2
Template:Levelbox This course is based on stages from Super Mario Bros. 3. The level starts on a typical Super Mario Bros. 3 Coin Heaven, now filled with 10 Gold Coins and Giant Coins. The end pipe leads Mario to the main level, which is based on World 1-1. This level is mostly unchanged; the white block at the middle of the level was changed to a magenta block, and some hidden blocks and Red Blocks were added.
Near the Paratroopas is a pipe not found in the original level; it leads Mario to an area based on World 1-5, with the final area before the end pipe removed. Additionally, a Beanstalk replaces the pink Note Block (though a normal Note Block is present) which leads to the bonus area found in World 1-1, except the coins form the numeral "2" instead of "3".
The elevated pipe at the end of this level sends the plumber to an area based on the Battle Mode stage of Super Mario Bros. 3 (which in turn is based on the first phase of Mario Bros.). Also, a secret path at the very end, which can be opened only with Raccoon Mario or Gold Mario, leads Mario to a black underground area made of small pipes, where coins, 10 Gold Coins, and Giant Coins fall from above near the Red Flagpole, alongside a Roulette Block.
Star Coins
- Star Coin 1: Found on the high platform that can be reached as Raccoon Mario.
- Star Coin 2: Found in the World 1-5 area. Mario must ground pound the Brick Block blocking the first small water-filled gap to make it appear.
- Star Coin 3: Found in the hidden Mario Bros. area.
Enemies/obstacles

Secret Exit
Just before the end of the level, the player will notice a gap on the bricks. They should use their Gold Flower or Super Leaf to break the bricks and take them to a secret flagpole, while many coins fall from above before the player reaches the goal.
Course 3
Template:Levelbox This level is highly based on World 1-4 of Super Mario Bros.. In the start of this level, a red pipe leads to a place that is almost exactly World 1-1 of New Super Mario Bros. 2, including the hidden underground area, except that most of the Brick Blocks are replaced with Gold Blocks.
Bowser is fought at the end of this level. After he is defeated, three platforms appear, similar to the New Super Mario Bros. 2 final battle entrance. However, they lead Mario to an area with a Dash Mario level background, a chequered floor and a "THANK YOU!!" message made of coins, followed by a big coin Roulette Block and the Goal Pole.
Star Coins
- Star Coin 1: Found in the exact same area of Star Coin 1 in World 1-1 of New Super Mario Bros. 2.
- Star Coin 2: Found in the exact same area of Star Coin 2 in World 1-1 of New Super Mario Bros. 2.
- Star Coin 3: Found next to the ! Switch behind Bowser. It must be collected before hitting the switch, as Mario will not be able to collect it afterwards.
