Paper Bob-omb

Paper Bob-ombs are paper forms of Bob-ombs that appear as enemies in Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam and are one of the few paper enemies whose regular counterpart does not appear in the game as an enemy. Paper Bob-ombs attack by ramming into the heroes. After attacking a Paper Bob-omb, its fuse will light, and its next attack will result in an explosion which will defeat the Paper Bob-omb and may leave its target Dizzy. Paper Bob-ombs are commonly found at Doop Doop Dunes, with higher level Paper Bob-ombs found at Sunbeam Plains and Neo Bowser Castle.

Rare, shiny variants can also appear in place of the regular Paper Bob-ombs in the same areas with greater stats and the same methods of attack. The Paper Bob-ombs at Doop Doop Dunes will always drop a Mushroom and a Double 1-Up Mushroom with the ones at Sunbeam Plains and Neo Bowser Castle always dropping a Super Mushroom and a Shiny Battle Card when defeated.
