SNES Battle Course 4
Battle Course 4 is the last battle course of Super Mario Kart. It looks like it appears in Mario Circuit. Its form is a square, with walls and sand in the middle. It resembles Battle Course 1 from Mario Kart: Super Circuit, but at a larger scale.
The course also returns as a Retro Battle Course in Mario Kart Wii. Shells bounce of lots of the walls in this arena so players should try to attack out in the open. If the player is close enough to a wall, they can throw an shell over that wall without it hitting the wall. This is also true for Battle Course 3 in Mario Kart: Super Circuit.
Competitions

A competition took place on the Wii version of the track, where players had to collect a total of 50 coins. Various hazards did appear, such as oil slicks. It was the first competition of March 2009, and it was later repeated as the first competition of March 2011.
