Phase 4 Films was a film distribution company based in Canada. The company was founded by Berry Meyerowitz in 1996, and later became defunct in 2016. The company was headquartered in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. In 2013, Phase 4 Films officially purchased the rights to release Region 1 DVDs of the Donkey Kong Country television series. From 2013 to 2015, many DVDs that were consisted up of various episodes of Donkey Kong Country were distributed by Phase 4 Films, along with its subsidiary targeted towards children, Kaboom! Entertainment.
