France 2 is a French public national television channel that is part of France Télévisions founded on September 10, 1959. Donkey Kong Country and Donkey Kong Planet were both broadcasted on France 2. Four games based on Donkey Kong Planet were also published by France 2, the games being Couic d'or !, Memory Kong, Es-tu écolo?, and Et toi, si tu étais Maire... hein?, with Memory Kong and Couic d'or ! being computer games developed through Adobe Flash that could be downloaded via the Donkey Kong Planet website,[1] and Es-tu écolo? and Et toi, si tu étais Maire... hein? being HTML quizzes playable on the website itself.[2][3]
