Brian A. Rice, Inc. was a small third-party development studio based in suburban Illinois led by its namesake, Brian A. Rice. The studio developed a large number of educational and licensed games, notably including the 1994 game Instruments of Chaos starring Young Indiana Jones for the Sega Genesis. They additionally created the digital coloring book series Electric Crayon, with installments based on properties such as Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, All Dogs Go to Heaven, and Inspector Gadget. One entry in this series, Super Mario Bros. & Friends: When I Grow Up, was the studio's first and only game to feature Nintendo characters.
