Description(s)
During battle, lets you use two items during one turn. Uses 3 FP. (Paper Mario)
Wear this to become able to use two items during Mario's turn in battle. This move requires 4 FP. Wearing two of these increases the required FP, but allows Mario to use up to three items. (Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door, Nintendo GameCube)
Wear this to let Mario use multiple items during battle. Requires 4 FP. Select Double Dip under Items to let Mario use up to two items in a row. Wearing two of these allows Mario to use up to three items in a row, but it also increases the required FP. (Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door, Nintendo Switch)

Double Dip is a badge in Paper Mario and Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door. In Paper Mario, it can be bought from Rowf's Badge Shop after chapter 2 for 100 coins, and in Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door, it is located in Rogueport, in a location accessible behind the Trouble Center using Boat Mode, or the Pit of 100 Trials, as the reward for reaching the sixtieth floor.

If equipped by Mario, he can use two items in one turn for three FP (four in Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door). It has an upgraded version called Triple Dip that is exclusive to Paper Mario, allowing him to use three items in one turn, but in Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door, this was replaced by having Mario equip two Double Dip badges, for the same effect, called "Triple Dip".

Merluvlee's prediction in Paper Mario

  • "I see...a Double Dip Badge. It is for sale at the open-air shop in the plaza outside the castle gate."
