Fire Spikes are a variant of Spikes introduced in Super Mario Bros. Wonder. They behave similarly to regular Spikes, but shoot fireballs from their mouths instead of Spike Balls. They first appear in Wavy Ride through the Magma Tube.
Fireballs from a Fire Spike work more similar to how the Spike Balls work in Super Mario Bros. 3, where they move in a straight line instead of bouncing.
