Template:Character-infoboxTemplate:Quote2 Kreepy Krow is the ghost of the boss Krow, and appears as the boss of Gloomy Gulch in Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest and Donkey Kong Land 2.
History
Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest
After the Kongs travel throughout the spooky Gloomy Gulch, they will go to Kreepy Krow's nest. Venturing onto this structure, the Kongs will encounter Kreepy Krow. He will send out a barrage of ghost Mini-Neckies to attack the Kongs, who must either attack or avoid these spectral birds, and jump on the live Mini-Necky deployed by Krow to summon a barrel from the sky. Like the previous battle with Krow, the Kongs can hit Kreepy Krow with the barrel to attack him, causing him to advance higher into his spooky nest.
After this, a hook will drop nearby, and the Kongs must use these hook to climb ropes in order to reach the higher area where Kreepy Krow is located. He will then begin to throw eggs at the Kongs to try to attack them. The Kongs must dodge the eggs and jump in a barrel nearby to reach the deceased bird. Again, he will send a barrage of ghostly Mini-Neckies at the Kongs, along with another living Mini-Necky. The Kongs must once again jump on the living Mini-Necky to summon a barrel. This allows them to attack Kreepy Krow again, causing him to fly upwards even further.
Hooks will then appear to allow the Kongs to climb the rope. The eggs Kreepy Krow sends down will this time become quicker than usual and the Kongs must evade the eggs quicker to jump into a barrel in order to reach the top of Kreepy Krow's exceedingly tall nest. When the Kongs reach Kreepy Krow for the third time, it will send a barrage of Mini-Neckies quickly, and making them more numerous, so the Kongs must evade or defeat the ghost Mini-Neckies quickly until the final living Mini-Necky comes out, on which the Kongs must jump on to summon a barrel. Then, the Kongs must hit Kreepy Krow with the barrel for a third time to defeat Krow for a second time, and for good.
For the SNES version of the game, Kreepy Krow does not appear as a member of the "Barnacled Bosses" group. However, in the Game Boy Advance version, he does appear as a member. This version also adds a scene where Kreepy Krow can be seen rising from Krow's dead body after his defeat in Krow's Nest.
Donkey Kong Land 2
It has been requested that this section be rewritten.
Kreepy Krow reprises his role as the boss of Gloomy Gulch in Donkey Kong Land 2. In this game, he looks identical to his mortal self. Krow first attacks the Kongs by sending a barrage of Neckies like the psuedo-sequel, but instead of the Kongs having to jump on the alive Mini-Necky to summon a barrel, they have to dodge the Mini-Neckies to summon an egg as a weapon instead of a barrel in the pseudo-sequel. After the first hit, Krow repeats his same attack, but flies upwards, preparing to move on to the top of its nest, instead of doing three floors in the pseudo sequel, Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest. Diddy and Dixie must repeat these steps to summon an egg so they can heave it at Krow who then flies up to the next and top level of his new nest. Diddy and Dixie, must then jump on two hooks to advance to the ropes where Krow attempts to throw eggs at the Kongs. When the Kongs reach a Barrel Cannon, they get shot up to the top of Krow's new nest and this time, Krow does the same attacks, but quicker. The Kongs must avoid the Mini-Neckies quicker to summon an egg, but this time, it temporarily bounces in the air and Krow tries to attack the Kongs by swooping at them. When the egg stops bouncing, the Kongs must heave it at Krow again to attack it. The Kongs must then repeat this step to gain the second Kremkoin that Krow holds captive and the Kongs can then move on to K. Rool's Keep.
