Crosshair Cranky

Crosshair Cranky is a mode exclusively found in the Game Boy Color port of Donkey Kong Country. Here, Donkey Kong and Diddy Kong travel through parts throughout Donkey Kong Island where the Kongs can't usually visit in the Adventure mode. There are five stages total in this mode and each one of them does a specific different part of the game.

Modes
- Kremlings and Kongs: Shoot fifty Kremlings which hop on bananas while avoiding shooting the Kongs.
- Barrel O' Kremlings: Donkey and Diddy Kong must shoot a certain amount of Kremlings. If too many Kremlings are missed, the Kongs will lose the minigame.
- Kremling Krackdown: The Kongs must shoot all of the Kremlings simply.
- Buddies Beware: Rambi, Expresso, and Winky are chased by a group of Gnawties and the Kongs must shoot coconuts in the holes so the Animal Buddies don't fall through it. They must do it 25 times to complete the stage.
- Wanted: The Kongs must shoot the Kremlings that try to steal their bananas in a dark room.
- Galleon Gunner: The Kongs must shoot King K. Rool's loaded cannons before he shoots them.
