Error when Submiting

I am getting a database error whenever I submit an edit:

A database query syntax error has occurred. This may indicate a bug in the software. The last attempted database query was:

    (SQL query hidden)

from within function "SearchMySQL4::update". MySQL returned error "1194: Table 'searchindex' is marked as crashed and should be repaired (localhost)".

Assist Trophies & Pokemon

OK, as you people may know, there has been a debate over the Assist Trophy characters. Should they have their own articles, or should they be put on the Assist Trophy page. Well, the opposed won, and the articles were STILL made. So, I am bringing it here to get more results. NOTE: The result of this poll is temporary. A new decision can be made when the game has been released.

Create Articles for Assist Trophy Characters and Pokemon

There would be too little information for most pokemon and assist trophies leave as is. Xzelion^ETC

I beg to differ. I've seen Mini-game pages smaller than Dr. Wright and Goro.

Though I do think the Assist Trophies could serve some more potential than Poke Balls... Dodester

So. I got demoted for speaking out against a rule and got demoted. He did something so amazingly huge and also gets demoted. I see a small break in logic there. He also never got punished by demotion, and Steve was out of it for some reason, because he was going to give Wayoshi a second chance.Saudy^Talk!

If all else fails, when you find foreign source, use Babel Fish or Google translator. The translation might be shaky, but they generally tend to be accurate.Saudy^Talk!

I... I can't believe what's happened here. Everyone has been arguing and flaming to poor steve, everyone hates each other, I can't believe it!

How could you all do this? We've all changed, and I think it was for the worst.

SSB Emblems in Corner of Articles

I think the only emblems in the upper corner of articles should be the FA star. This is the Mario Wiki, so we don't need to identify every article with a SSB symbol. ♥♪!? 18:58, 19 July 2007 (EDT)

Why do you hate them? That took me ages to do, and why exactly are you dissing them. I only put them on, because on the Trivia Section, it states what the characters Emblem is, so I put it at the top to show what it looks like. So, what's you're problem with them? My Bloody Valentine

Also, the symbol images aren't transparent, which makes them very annoying for my yellow skin. {{SSB Infobox}} takes care of this now, so when adding that template to articles, can anyone (DP?) doing it also remove the corner item? I have something to say... to all of you, really. Do any of you know what this is? It's a MARIO wiki. A site about a fat little plumber saving the beatiful princess from the evil dragon. It's not about a bunch of over-sensitive dorks and there soap-opera like experiences, but apparently that is what the NEW MW will be about.

Wayoshi: You have always treated this wiki like it was some kind of museum of modern art. You were too official, too serious, and did'nt seem to me to be all that friendly. Then, (surprises and plot-twists abound) you became a sexually perverted troll named Willie. Why? Apparently, you have a mild form of Autism. I have yet to hear of any sickness that causes someone to rename themselves Willie and make perverted remarks on a Mario Wiki, but thats just me. You werent punished for any of this....... o.k. Fine. Forgive and forget and all. But don't go losing you;re head the next time someone says the word "poopy" on the wiki, because you are no longer one to talk.

Also... youre an Atheist. Fine. I have no problem with anyones particular religious or sexual beliefs. BUT, when someone acts like a jackass and raves about someone elses beliefs, that pisses me off.

I agree with Wayoshi on the first point, we do have namespace edits, but I really think that people are getting way too sensitive nowadays. The wiki just seems to have lost the magic touch it had a year ago. I don't know, maybe I'm wrong, but it does seems like we've been falling into a decline in productivity and and increase in spam and pointless flame wars. UT is right. We have to find a way to get back to that golden age.

The Golden Age was sooooooo awesome. I think Super Mario Galaxy and Brawl might help bring that back. There's less productivity because we've covered most of the back order for games that were released previously. A big part of the wiki now is updating it to match newer releases.Saudy^Talk!
