Bowl Over is a 1-vs-3 minigame found in Mario Party and Mario Party 2. Its name could be a pun on the term "pull over" or "bowl someone over."
Overview
Bowl Over takes place at one of three bowling lane layouts. The team players are represented as bowling pins among regular ones. The solo player (who is always the human player in Mini-Game Coaster in Mario Party 2) throws a Green Shell at them (in addition to a second one in Mario Party 2). The team players try to avoid the bowling pins. The solo player earns a Coin for each regular pin they knock over. If the shell either touches the sides or does not knock over any pins, the minigame ends in a "Miss!", though the announcer says "Strike!" if every pin is hit. The Mario Party 2 version has no side barriers. In Mario Party only, if a player's pin gets hit by the shell, they lose five Coins to the bowler.
Bowl Over can be bought from the Mini-Game House in Mario Party for 350 Coins, or from Woody in Mario Party 2 for 100 Coins.
