Big Turnips are an item introduced in Super Mario Advance. They are a much larger version of regular Turnips.
Overview
Big Turnips are very similar to regular Turnips, the only real difference is that it can hit enemies that are further because of how large it is. Big Turnips sometimes replace what were originally regular Turnips in the original Super Mario Bros. 2. Also, it takes a lot longer for Mario to pick up Big Turnips compare to other items that can be picked up in Super Mario Advance because of its large size.
Design
The design of a Big Turnip is very similar to the regular Turnip that has a face, except it is way larger.
