Description
"OM NOM NOM!"
First appearance Paper Mario: Sticker Star (2012)

Sticker Museum plaque, Paper Mario: Sticker Star

The Cake is a Thing in Paper Mario: Sticker Star. It is found on the dining room table in The Enigmansion. As Mario is walking around in the loft above the kitchen, he may drop down onto the table and simply collect the cake. It remains in Mario's Album until it is turned into a Sticker at a Sling-a-Thing station. Once it has been used as a sticker, it returns to its original position. It can also be purchased from the Shady Toad for 100 Coins.

As a sticker, the cake takes up four squares in Mario's album. If used in a battle, a large cake appears behind Mario, with a techno arrangement of "Happy Birthday to You" playing in the background. There are ten candles on the cake which light up, giving the player the chance to blow into the mic of their system to extinguish a few of them; this restores a particular amount of HP. If no candles are extinguished, the cake disappears with no HP restored.[1]

The cake can also be placed into the Sticker Museum as #63, alongside the miscellaneous Things. Its description mentions its rare nature and delicacy, and appears to be telling Mario to back away from the display, referencing its irresistible desire.
