Battle Tower Blitz is the eighteenth and last course of Episode 2 in Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker and its Nintendo Switch and Nintendo 3DS ports of the same name. It takes place on many towers with enemies and Clear Pipe Cannons. Completing it unlocks Episode 3. It takes place on lots of towers in the sky, filled with enemies. As its name suggests, this course is filled with enemies that must be defeated.
Layout
Toadette starts on a small tower where she must enter the Clear Pipe Cannon, that blasts her off onto the first tower. This tower has six Fire Bros, four Pluck Patches and two Touchstone barriers. Toadette must throw one of the Turnips at the first Fire Bro, then proceed to climb a ladder and press a P Switch. This opens a previously closed door to a Clear Pipe, where Toadette must go through to land on the highest Fire Bro. Next, she should walk down the large steps, defeating Fire Bros as she goes. Defeating all of the Fire Bros lowers a bridge that leads to the next tower.
On the next tower, two Magikoopas and an infinite Pluck Patch await Toadette. She must throw the turnips through the Clear Pipes to defeat the Magikoopas, lowering the bridge to a smaller tower which acts as the rest area. The Toad Brigade is present on said tower, and Hint Toad will toss Toadette a Super Mushroom to assist her in the final section.
A short path leads to a large and final tower containing Goomba Towers, Hammer Bros, Rock Blocks and a Turnip Cannon. Toadette must dodge the Goomba Towers and the Hammer Bros to get to the cannon, so that she can shoot all of the enemies and Rock Blocks to finally reveal a path to Captain Toad and a Power Star in a small patch of gold. Upon collecting the star, Wingo will appear, snatch away Toadette, and send Captain Toad flying.
Super Gems
Three Super Gems can be found throughout the level.
- Super Gem 1: In a Clear Pipe on the Fire Bros tower.
- Super Gem 2: Down a ladder on the Toad Brigade tower.
- Super Gem 3: Inside some Rock Blocks on the final tower, making the use of the Turnip Cannon mandatory to collect it.
Enemies
Pixel Toad
The Pixel Toad is at the cannon section of the stage under bricks in the corner farthest from Captain Toad on his left.
Luigi Sighting
An 8-bit Luigi is peeking out of the gold to the left of the star. It can easily be seen during the star-collecting animation.
