A Dragon Coin or Yoshi Coins are type of Coins only found in Super Mario World and subsequent remakes.
There are five Dragon Coins littered around every level in the game (except the Chocolate Island Secret level which only has two). Collecting five of them is the equivalent of collecting 100 Gold Coins. In Super Mario World's Game Boy Advance remake, Super Mario Advance 2: Super Mario World, the amount of Dragon Coins acquired are recorded on a menu, and if you collect them all, they will transform into Peach Coins.
