Template:Pmenemybox Dark Koopas are insane, Punk-style dressed Koopas that live in sewers. Their insanity makes them spin and run in place crazily, and it is very bad to be attacked by one while in that state. An attack from a spinning Dark Koopa leaves the victim Dizzy. The Dark Koopa is found in Toad Town Tunnels in Paper Mario, and the Pit of 100 Trials in Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door.
They later appear in Super Paper Mario; however, in this game they are different creatures. In this game they are literally completely dark; they are like shadows of Koopas. They also appear in the Flopside Pit of 100 Trials in this game.
