Ropey Rampage is the second level of Donkey Kong Country, located in the Kongo Jungle. The level takes place at night time, during a heavy tropical storm. Kritters will be fought in this level, and Armys and Zingers will make their first appearances. The level involves a lot of climbing and swinging on ropes. As the Kongs reach the end of the level, the storm ends, revealing a sunrise in the background.
In the GBA remake, the background is lighter and there is no tropical storm, just heavy rain.
