Template:PM badge infobox/new Fire Shield is a Badge in Paper Mario. It is found in Mt. Lavalava on a solitary platform, obtained by jumping off of a zip cord at the right moment onto the platform. If Mario equips this Badge, his defense against fire attacks is increased by one, and he is able to jump on fire enemies without taking damage. In Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door, its effects are given to the Ice Power badge.

Merluvlee's predictions in Paper Mario

  • "I see...a Fire Shield Badge. As you ride the trapeze down inside of the volcano, you let go halfway down and jump onto a rock shelf. The Badge is yours!"
