The company was headquartered in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. In 2013, Phase 4 Films officially purchased the rights to release Region 1 DVDs of the Donkey Kong Country television series. From 2013 to 2015, many DVDs that were consisted up of various episodes of Donkey Kong Country were distributed by Phase 4 Films, along with its subsidiary targeted towards children, Kaboom!
