- This article is about the stage first appearing in Super Smash Bros. For the Super Smash Bros. Melee and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate stage known by this name in the former game, see Kongo Falls.
Kongo Jungle is as one of the stages in Super Smash Bros., in which its name is spelled as Congo Jungle. The stage is made out of a large wooden platform with several smaller ones, some of which float around it. There is also a Barrel Cannon underneath the platform. A jungle can be seen in the background.
Kongo Jungle reappears in Super Smash Bros. Melee under its correct spelling as one of the three Past Stages in the game, along with Yoshi's Island and Dream Land. It is an unlockable stage, obtained by surviving 15-Minute Melee.
Kongo Jungle does not appear in Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS, though its corresponding theme does play in the Jungle Japes stage, replacing the original theme. The stage does appear in Super Smash Bros. for Wii U, where it is called Kongo Jungle 64 and remains unlockable. While it remains unchanged from Super Smash Bros. Melee, the stage is also playable in 8-Player Smash. Kongo Jungle is now unlocked by clearing the event The Original Heavyweights. On the Ω form, the main platform is completely flat, the barrel and soft platforms are gone, and the main platform cannot be passed through from below.
Kongo Jungle reappears as a stage in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.
