Koopeleons are Koopa Troopas that live in the Toadwood Forest in Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time. They resemble a Koopa Troopa and chameleon hybrid with a purple and blue shell, green skin, large eyes, and a long, curled tail. Like chameleons, Koopeleons have the ability to change their colors to blend in with their surroundings, making them appear to be invisible. To attack, a Koopeleon runs into its foe, delivering damage. This attack can be dodged and countered with a jump attack. If damaged, a Koopeleon becomes visible.
Koopeleons have their own variant in Thwomp Caverns, which are called Gold Koopeleons. These enemies have less HP, but their other stats are much higher.
