History

Mario Golf: World Tour

In Mario Golf: World Tour, a Mega Spike appears in Hole 3 of Wiggler Park.

Mario Sports Superstars

In Mario Sports Superstars, Mega Spike appears as a boss in the Road to Superstar mode. It walks and hops around, dropping Brick Blocks and Giant Spiked Balls from the sky, and kicking the latter downwards. The Mega Spike can also land on top of an amiibo card, stunning it for some time. When it reaches half health, it gets angry and targets the amiibo cards more fiercely.

Super Mario Maker 2

Mega Spikes later make an appearance in Super Mario Maker 2's version 2.0 update, being created by enlarging Spikes with a Super Mushroom. They act the same as their normal counterparts, except they throw Giant Spiked Balls, or giant snowballs in the snow-themed levels.

LEGO Super Mario

A Mega Spike, known as Big Spike, appears in the Big Spike's Cloudtop Challenge LEGO Super Mario Expansion Set, which was released on August 1, 2022. It holds a spiked roller, making it resemble the Spikes from Super Mario 3D World.
