The Rocket Nozzle is one of FLUDD's nozzles in Super Mario Sunshine. Using it launches Mario upward after charging for a brief period. It does not launch Mario while he is swimming, so he must jump out right before he is launched if there is no land near him. Using the Rocket Nozzle launches Mario high enough to perform powerful Ground Pounds that can destroy certain objects with a flame icon on them, including the rock on top of the Delfino Plaza lighthouse or the edges of Bowser's tub during the final battle. The Rocket Nozzle can be obtained from red nozzle boxes. However, they are not available at the start of the game, and the boxes are transparent and intangible.
