Super Mario Bros. Wonder is an upcoming 2D Super Mario game for the Nintendo Switch. It was first announced during the June 21, 2023 Nintendo Direct, and is planned to be released worldwide on October 20, 2023.[3] The game features a new art style and power-ups, including the Wonder Flower, with Mario, Luigi, Princess Peach, Princess Daisy, Yoshis of different colors, and Yellow Toad as playable characters. It is the first new full-fledged 2D Mario game since New Super Mario Bros. U released almost 11 years prior.
