The Mario Teaches Typing series is a duology of educational games in the Super Mario franchise developed by Interplay. The series teaches players how to type using a computer keyboard and consists of Mario Teaches Typing and Mario Teaches Typing 2.

Gameplay[edit]

Both of the games in the series consist of Mario going through many levels where typing helps him travel through them.

MS-DOS 		Mario Teaches Typing is the first installment in the Mario Teaches Typing series. Most of the gameplay consists of the player needing to type a sequence of keys in correspondence to what the computer screen displays.

Microsoft Windows, Mac OS 		Mario Teaches Typing 2 is the second and final installment in the Mario Teaches Typing series. The game is very similar to the first. However, there is a floating Mario head that talks to the player.
