- “Oh! Thank goodness! At last somebody has found me! That rotten yellow belly K. Rool imprisoned me... ...behind this evil barrier, which he sealed with a dark and powerful magic spell.”
- —Banana Queen, Donkey Kong Country 3: Dixie Kong's Double Trouble!
The evil barrier is a large wall prison found in Donkey Kong Country 3: Dixie Kong's Double Trouble! that Baron K. Roolenstein used to trap the Banana Queen. The exterior appears to have some strange hieroglyphic codes on it.
Description
When Baron K. Roolenstein, under the guise of KAOS, invaded the Northern Kremisphere, he managed to make sure the Banana Queen would not mess with his plans by casting a spell contained in a crystal key to imprison her. After the Banana Queen's imprisonment, he sent out the Kremling Krew to capture all the Banana Birds they could, as the Banana Birds were the only ones who could free their mother. Almost all the Banana Birds were sealed away in the secret caves, and the Banana Birds who were not captured took refuge with several members of the Brothers Bear family (and the other Kongs in the GBA remake).
If Dixie and Kiddy Kong manage to obtain all the Banana Birds, the birds will take the Kongs to their queen and mother. The birds will sing a song that will counteract the evil barrier's power, breaking the evil barrier and freeing the Banana Queen.
