Dream Long Jump is a Dream Event in the Nintendo DS version of Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games.
This event is an extreme version of the event, Long Jump, as characters sprint off a track and fly through the air. The goal of this event is to fly the farthest before landing in three attempts. However, characters must land on an island; falling into the water results in a foul. The wind becomes a factor in speed and movement of the participant. There are also rings in the air that will boost the player's speed.

- Green Shell: Hits opponent.
- Red Shell: Homes in on random opponent.
- Starman: Makes the player invincible for limited time and makes them faster.
- Shield: Protects from incoming items.
- Chaos Emerald: Causes the wind to blow hard, moving all opponents around.
- Speed Boost: Increases the player's speed for limited time.
