Chill Bully
Bully from Super Mario 64.

The Bully[1], also known as the Chill Bully[2], is a peculiar type of Bully found in Super Mario 64 and Super Mario 64 DS. Its light blue body is approximately the size of Big Bully, and a single golden spike is on the top of its head (as opposed to the usual black surface and twin horns of the Bullies of Lethal Lava Land). The Bully appears in the 10th course, Snowman's Land. In this level, the Bully walks around on an ice platform above a pool of extremely cold water; touching this water has similar effects to touching lava. When the Bully is defeated, he releases a Power Star.

Unlike other Bullies, this Bully can be defeated in the DS remake by having Yoshi obtain a Power Flower and pushing it off the platform with his fire breath. This is most likely due to its icy nature.

Notably, Chief Chilly is very similar to this Bully in design and behavior.

Trivia

  • This Bully was apparently going to have a smaller counterpart, but it was removed in the final game.
  • In the original game, the body of this Bully has a similar appearance to the planet Neptune.
  • Bully, along with Big Mr. I and Big Bully, is one of the three bosses that does not speak to Mario, and when Mario encounters him, the boss theme does not play.
