Minigames

Free-For-All
- Fruit Scoot Scurry - A minigame in which players need to collect as much fruit as possible in a Layer-Cake Desert type area.
- Beeline Shrine - A minigame in which players must jump to avoid bees.
- Cheep Cheep Leap - A minigame in which players (in their invincible form) must jump to hit Cheep Cheeps.
- Peepa Panic[1] - A minigame in which the players must avoid Peepas or else be slowed down.[2]
- Spiked Ball Scramble[3] - A minigame in which players must avoid Ball 'n' Chains while traveling on a narrow path.[2]
- Bob-omb Bogey[3] - A golfing-based minigame in which the player earns points by hitting their ball first.[4]
- A minigame in which players are balancing on balls and must roll over all the switches on the field.[5]
- A minigame which oversees the march of Goombas, Galoombas, and Goombrats.
- Rapid River Race[6] - A minigame which involves the players racing in rafts, while avoiding Urchins.[7]
- Snake Block Party[8] - A platforming minigame in which you have to complete a parcours of Snake Blocks.[7]
- Soar to Score[3]A minigame in which players spin around on a rope, let go and land on a target. Players are given points depending on where they land.[9]
- Cliffside Crisis[6] - A minigame in which players must walk across and dodge Bomps.[9]
- Ice Slide, You Slide[3] - A minigame in which players must walk down an icy path and jump over and under Flipruss.[9]
- Flash Forward - A minigame in which players have 10 seconds to get in front of rivals and strike a pose for the camera.[9]
- Shy Guy Shuffle[1] - A minigame in which players must try to choose a Shy Guy with the most food on his head.[9]
- Paintball Battle - A minigame in which each player has a paintball gun and must shoot the other players.[9]
- Magma Meltdown[6] - A minigame which involves lava and low platforms.[9][9]
- Fruit Fetch (NOE) Fruit of the doom (NOA)[1] - A minigame in which players must collect fruit and avoid Urchins and Big Urchins. The players are standing on a platform covered in water.[9]
- Goomba Gotcha[3] - A minigame which oversees Goombas and Goombrats in a jungle environment.[9]
- Cloud Cover[10] - A minigame in which players have to race up a tower in Lakitu clouds. They also have to dodge Fuzzys.[9]
- Platform Push[1] - A minigame which involves poisonous water and green platforms.[9]
- A minigame which involves players standing on a tall platform.[9]
- Fruit Cahoots[1] - A minigame in which players must press the button to activate a spring on the conveyer belt to collect fruit while avoiding Bob-ombs.[11]
- Blooper Blast-Off[10] - A minigame in which players ride in sub-marines shaped like Bloopers.[9]
- A minigame which involves Swoopers in a pipe filled cavern.[9]
- Bob-omb Combo[3]A minigame which involves a lot of Bob-ombs.[9]
- Meanie Match[1] - A minigame which involves several enemies and a giant roulette table.[9]
- Found it? Pound it![3] - A minigame in which players must stand on panels that have the correct sequence of Mushrooms and Koopa Shells.[9]
- Dice 'n' Dash[3] - A minigame which involves a dark room and blocks with different items on them.[9]
- Balloon Blast Bash[3] - A minigame in which players must pump up a green balloon in a forest setting.[9]

2-vs-2
- Ground Pound Pals[12] - A minigame in which the teams are on opposite sides of the field and must ground pound panels across from each other to earn the coins on panels in-between.[2]
- Bobsled Battle[13] - A minigame in which players are sledding down a mountain collecting coins.[5]
- Boo Burglars[3]A minigame in which players work together to catch Boos.[7]
- Soccer Brawl[3] - A Soccer game in which players balancing on balls must knock the soccer ball into the opposing goal.
- Goombrat Combat[12] - A minigame in which players must push Goombrats into the other team's territory.[9]
- Shape Up[3]A minigame in which players take turns stacking blocks.[9]
- Bump, Set, Spike[12] - A volleyball-based minigame in which 1 teammate hits the ball in the air and the other teammate spikes it.[9]
- Murky Maze[12] - A minigame in which players are running in a dark maze while holding a light block. They have to meet up to win.[9]
- Bouncy Bounty[12] A minigame which involves collecting coins.[9]
- Revolving Relay[12] A minigame which involves clouds and moving platforms.[9]
1-vs-3
- A minigame in which the players must avoid being in the path of Skewers by hiding behind blocks on the field. In the Nintendo Direct trailer, Donkey Kong can be seen in the top-left corner of the screen, pressing switches that seemingly activate the Skewers.[2]
- Bullet Bill Bullies[3] - A minigame in which the team of 3 aiming Bill Blasters at the other player who is on a Switchboard.[9]
- Spring Fling[14] - A minigame in which has the single person trying to push buttons that activate spring loaded floor panels. The other players have to dodge the springs.[9]
- Keep-Away Mayhem (NOA)/Piggy in the Middle (NOE)[3] [14] - A minigame in which 3 players pass a soccerball and one player tries to intercept it.[9]
- Steal the Beat[14] - A minigame in which players have to hit drums with correct timing.[11]
- A minigame in which 3 players are holding watermelons and one player has a hammer. The single player has to break the watermelons.[9]
- Movin' Mushrooms[10] - A minigame in which players have to tilt platforms to knock items into their areas.[9]
- Bubble Squabble[10] - A minigame which involves bouncy platforms.[9]
- Cheep Cheep Check[3] - A minigame which involves a lot of Cheep Cheeps.[9]
- Hop, Drop, and Roll[10] - A minigame in which the three players dodge Grrols and Bullet Bills fired by the single player.[11]
Boss Battle Minigames
- Mega Goomba's Ladder Leap[2] - A Boss minigame in which players must jump and defeat a Mega Goomba.
- Petey's Bomb Battle[15] - A Boss minigame in which the players must throw Bombs at Petey Piranha.
- Sledge Bro's Card Chaos[16] - A minigame in which the players are fighting a Sledge Brother with cards. The player must memorize which card contains a Bullet Bill to attack the boss. If the players choose a Sledge Hammer card, the boss will attack with his sledge hammer.[9]
- King Boo's Tricky Tiles[16] - A minigame involving King Boo and platforms floating above a swamp. The player must jump on the plataforms to reach and jump on the switches to attack with light. There are some false plataforms with Boos on it.[17]
- A minigame in which players are in boats with cannons and are fighting a Cheep Chomp.[9]
- A minigame in which the four players fight against Blooper.[17]
- Mega Monty Mole's Maze Mischief[3] - A minigame in which players must navigate a maze to get to a Mega Monty Mole, which is the boss. The person who finishes the maze first gets to shoot a bigger cannon.[9]
- A minigame in which the player rides a rocket in the sky and shoots missiles at Kamek.
- A minigame in which players must swing on a rope, to land on a Mega Mechakoopa.[9]
- A minigame in which players are fighting Bowser. The players are riding in tanks and they have to shoot Bowser who is riding a bigger tank. Each player can take two hits from Bowser. When players get hit they become small but players can get a mushroom to return to normal size. When Bowser's tank gets destroyed, he falls into the surrounding lava, turns into Dry Bowser, and grows huge. [9]
Bowser vs. All
- Bowser's Bad Breath - A Bowser Minigame where the GamePad player move the gamepad to angle Fireballs to shoot at others.
- Bowser's Fire Bar Fury - A game where the GamePad player tilts the gamepad to move Firebars to hit players.
- Bowser's Painball[18] - A game where the GamePad player plays a pinball machine with the other players inside.
- Bowser's Wicked Wheel[19] - A game where the GamePad player controls the speed of a spinning wheel to knock players into a pair of Amps.
- Bowser's High Dive[20] - A minigame where there are two platforms which players can switch from and Bowser can pick which one to Ground Pound.[21]
- Bowser's Clawful Climb[6] - A minigame in which players must climb up the side of a tower with Bowser climbing behind them, avoiding his claws smashing them.[2]
- Bowser's Hammer Slammer[6] - A minigame in which players must avoid being smashed by Bowser with a hammer by moving around a track surrounding him.[4]
- Bowser's Sinister Slots[22] minigame where Bowser spins a wheel that aims Bullet Bills at the selected player who must dodge them.[9]
- Bowser's Roulette Rage[6] - A minigame where Bowser spins a roulette table, with safe spots and Bowser spots. Those who end up on the Bowser spots lose hearts.[9]
- Bowser's Bogus Bingo[3]A minigame where Bowser plays a reverse-styled bingo game with the other players, in which players lose hearts depending on how many lines the players make on their boards.[9]
Bonus Minigames
- Jewel Drop, a tile-matching minigame similar to played with two players, with the players on the sides standing on pumps.[23]
- Badminton Bash, a minigame in which the players play badminton.[9][24]
- A minigame in which the player has a hammer and has to fight Bowser Jr in an arena.[9]
- A minigame in which the player has to fight Bowser Jr in an arena with see-through blocks.
