Shy Guy Shuffle is a Free-for-All minigame appearing in Mario Party 10.

Gameplay[edit]

The Shy Guys reveal the doughnuts they are carrying, and then they conceal them with dish lids. The Shy Guys then shuffle around, and when they stop, the players have to choose the one they think has the most doughnuts. The number of doughnuts a player chooses matches how many points that player earns. In the third round, the Shy Guys line up in front of the screen and jump from side to side to shuffle themselves, making it harder to keep track of them. After the third round, any player with the highest score wins the minigame.

Ending[edit]

After the third round is over, a scene of the characters happily eating the doughnuts together is shown before it cuts to the results screen. Each character has their own animation:

  • Mario takes a bite out of one doughnut and then takes a bite out of another.
  • Luigi takes a bite out of a doughnut and lifts it into the air.
  • Peach takes a bite out of her doughnut and then thinks.
  • Daisy takes a bite out of her doughnut, smiles, and rocks from side to side.
  • Wario keeps taking bites out of his two doughnuts from left to right.
  • Waluigi keeps taking bites out of his two doughnuts from left to right and then sits contentedly.
  • Yoshi takes a bite out of the doughnut and then realizes how good it tastes.
  • Rosalina takes a bite out of her doughnut and then laughs.
  • Toad takes a bite out of the doughnut, starts jumping around, and then continues eating it.
  • Spike drops a doughnut into his mouth and eats it.
  • Toadette bounces excitedly, then takes a bite out of the doughnut and goes back to bouncing.
  • Donkey Kong drops a doughnut into his mouth, eats it, and repeats for another doughnut.
