Template:Species-infobox The Red Paragoomba is a sub-species of Paragoomba first identified in Super Mario Bros. 3. They later appeared in its remake and in the game Super Princess Peach. They are reddish-brown in color, and can be defeated by jumping on their head; they will then shed their wings.
History
Super Mario Bros. 3
In this game, Red Paragoombas are a weak form of Paragoombas. Their only method of attack is to hop along the ground, attempting to run into Mario or Luigi. To defeat them, the player must jump on them once to rid them of their wings, then jump on them again to be totally defeated.
Super Princess Peach
Red Paragoombas serve the same purpose in this game. A sub-species, called Mad Red Paragoomba, also appears. This species can cling to walls, allowing them to walk across high ledges without falling off the edge.
