Template:Coinpackbox Gold Rush Pack[1] (named Go! Go! Gold Mario Pack in Japan[2]) is the first of three Coin Rush packs for New Super Mario Bros. 2 released in Japan and Australia on October 2nd, 2012, and in Europe on October 3rd, 2012. The pack consists of courses filled with large amounts of coins (up to a grand total of 30,000 coins), with Gold Flowers being the primary power-up. It is rated one out of five stars in difficulty, making it the easiest pack of the three released on October 2012.
Course 1
Template:Levelbox This course is a sky level, similar to the ones found in World 5, such as World 5-3. The majority of the enemies are Goomba Towers, whose sizes vary.
Star Coins
- Star Coin 1: Suspended in mid-air, right before a Gold Ring, the player must use the Goomba Tower to reach it.
- Star Coin 2: Halfway through the level, under a plaform inbetween two Goomba Towers.
- Star Coin 3: Near the end of the level, within a small gap near a Clock.
Enemies
Course 2
Template:Levelbox A level similar to World 5-A, except in a seaside-like area instead of the sky.
Star Coins
- Star Coin 1: Suspended over water, the player needs to wait until it is in between the ship's gap in the middle.
- Star Coin 2: In the middle of the level, in mid-air, between a few coins.
- Star Coin 3: Between a few Brick Blocks, the player can either enter it from the bottom, or ground-pound the blocks on top.
Enemies
- A Red Koopa Troopa
- Red jumping Cheep-Cheeps
