Click-Clacks are blue beetles found in various locations on Crocodile Isle.
Click-Clacks first appear in Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest. In this game, the insects are fairly common enemies appearing in several levels. Click-Clacks are quite durable; they are capable of surviving after being jumped on. Unfortunately, once jumped on, they remain defenseless as one jump knocks them on their backs. While in this state, Click-Clacks can either be jumped on again to be defeated or be picked up and used as a projectile weapon against other enemies. Eventually a flipped over Click-Clack manages to turn right-side up. A Click-Clack can be instantly defeated by using either Diddy Kong's cartwheel attack or by having Dixie use a ground-based Helicopter Spin.
Click-Clacks also appear in Donkey Kong Land 2. There is no real difference between the Click-Clacks of Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest and the ones in Donkey Kong Land 2, except when the players jump on one in Donkey Kong Land 2, rhey can control themselves in midair after jumping on one, whereas in Donkey Kong Country 2, they get knocked back slightly.
An enemy similar to Click-Clacks, called Knik-Knaks, appear in Donkey Kong Country 3: Dixie Kong's Double Trouble! and Donkey Kong Land III.
Click-Clacks make a reappearance in DK: King of Swing. Click-Clacks also appear in DK Jungle Climber. In these games they climb around on Pegs and they cannot be attacked from the front as they can hurt Donkey Kong.
