The only world with three fortresses
Ice Land a.k.a. Iced Land is the sixth world in Super Mario Bros. 3. As the name implies, it is a frozen wasteland filled with slippery floors and even some frozen lakes. Mario must defeat Lemmy Koopa to change the King of Ice Land back to his former self.

- 6-1: Ptooies
- 6-2: Scrolling ream with cloud elevators
- 6-3: Tanooki suit in coin room
- Mini-fortress: Elevator in first room; Boom Boom as usual
- 6-4: Cloud land bonus
- 6-5: P-wing is useful; see main article for details
- 6-6: Piranha plants in the water
- 6-7: Scrolling realm; Mushroom house if 75 or more coins are collected
- Mini-fortress: Icy mini-fortress; side-to-side thwomps
- 6-8: Only realm in this world with a tropical background
