Super Wariroid is a form that Wario and Mario take in Super Mario-kun, in chapter 5 of Volume 10 and chapter 4 of Volume 11 respectively (although Mario's version does not get its own name). In this form, they don Samus' iconic Power Suit and are able to use the same powers she uses in her games. This form was created to promote the release of Super Metroid.

In Volume 10, at the end of the Mario & Wario story arc, after his Bulldog is taken down, Wario uses the pieces to make a Power Suit and become Super Wariroid. Due to the weight of both him and the suit, he sinks to waist level in the ground. Mario, Luigi, Yoshi, and Bowser-Wanda jumps on him, but Wario keeps them away with his Arm Cannon, until he goes out of ammo, resorting of using his farts as ammunition. Wario enters in Morph Ball mode and start rolling towards Mario to hit him. When Mario tries to kick him, he results too heavy and he ends up hurting his foot. Right then, Bowser-Wanda fusion spell expires and Bowser picks up Wario, but he gets himself free by activating some spikes on his Morph Ball surface, making Bowser drop him. Wanda gives Mario a Block Buster and, with that, Mario is able to defeat Super Wariroid, destroying his suit. Wario happily surrenders (as the adventure was a test for Mario to deem him worthy to be his companion in the Wario Land: Super Mario Land 3 story arc) and help the heroes by removing his bucket from Princess Peach's head.

In Volume 11, during the beginning of the Wario Land: Super Mario Land 3 arc, Mario is feeling jealous of Bull Wario's strength and finds a Super Metroid Box, a vending machine that can grant him the Power Suit for 10 seconds a coin. Mario takes the Power Suit for 100 coins, but with the suit weighting him down, he resorts in removing it and storing away the helmet. While climbing a cliff, Mario and Yoshi are pestered by a Watch and Mario manages to defeat it by wearing the helmet right as it attacks, breaking the Watch's beak, and then puts the helmet on the enemy, confusing it. Lastly, Mario tosses 10 Gold Coins at the Watch, defeating it.
